A Very Big Employee Appreciation Party

Bar None BBQ was excited to cater the Employee Appreciation Party of a world renowned, highly esteemed research organization here in San Diego. This 1650-guest carnival-themed special event featured a wide range of menu items for lunch, along with a bingo caller, jousting arena, four carnival games with trinket prizes, and a steel drum band (all games and entertainment that we coordinated for our client). Guests were also treated to lots of shade provided by white umbrellas on this very sunny and warm day!

Our client, who was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the planning, wrote after the event: "A good time was had by all. Everything ran smoothly, the food was great – and I adored working with your on-site staff; professional and yet friendly and accommodating."

A Very Special Graduation

On Saturday, Bar None Catering was honored to participate in the Little Grad Yearly Picnic at DeAnza Cove for the UCSD Medical Center ISCC (Infant Special Care Center). With more than a thousand guests in attendance, former neonatal ICU patients and their families were treated to games and activities, a fun bounce, a special guest appearance by Shamu, great food, and lots more. Heating Up San Diego County

Over the last week, Bar None BBQ added to San Diego's heat wave by grilling our way all over the county. Here are some highlights!

Two Private Events, Two Gorgeous Locations

On Saturday, we catered milestone events at stunning locations ... the first was a surprise 60th birthday party at a home on Mount Helix, and the second was a wedding anniversary celebration at the Del Mar Train Station. At both events, Bar None BBQ was right near the water: one by a vanishing edge pool, and the other above the Pacific Ocean just east of Powerhouse Park. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

Fourth of July and More!

In addition to Sheriff Kolender's retirement party on July 1st, Bar None BBQ also catered several Independence Day-themed events last week, both before and actually on the 4th of July!
