Events: Picnics All Around!

Last weekend, we catered picnics in some locations that are very popular selections (like Hospitality Point on Mission Bay) and some areas that are not-so-familiar choices (like California Water Sports and Magee Park, both in Carlsbad).

At Hospitality Point (moving from this company's chosen location of San Dieguito Park last year), this very active group had lots of options that we coordinated including a ginormous slide, a fun jump, volleyball sets, face painting, child games, and even a caricaturist ... guests had lots of choices on how to enjoy their afternoon:

At Magee Park for our fourth year in a row with this company's picnic, our special guests enjoyed client-coordinated options like a DJ and a fun bounce, along with our food:

At California Water Sports on the Carlsbad Lagoon, Bar None Barbecue provided only the great food and excellent service at one of our favorite locations in the entire county. We've worked here several times with this group and others ... it's a great place to enjoy a weekend afternoon with your coworkers and their families with lots of built-in fun!

Event: Topping Out Ceremony for Bosa Development

On Friday, we were honored to cater Bosa Development's Topping Out Ceremony for its Bayside at the Embarcadero project (www.baysidebybosa.com). In construction tradition, the topping out ceremony acknowledges the last beam being placed at the top of the building's structure. Our associated celebration involved 500 guests dining on Tender Baby Back Ribs, Juicy Chicken, and more. News: Too Busy to Blog!

It's been 10 days since we've blogged ... it's been a non-stop whirlwind of picnics and luncheons, along with the new bookings coming in each day which take priority over this recently-neglected blog. So, here are a few pix from some July events until we can break away and do a more thorough post:

Events: Picnicking and Tailgating

Bar None Barbecue was excited to cater three company picnics this weekend, as well as two tailgates at Petco Park. Each picnic had lots of entertainment, activities, and food to keep all the picnickers nice and happy.

Unfortunately, we couldn't help Greg Maddux and the Padres win on Saturday evening against the Atlanta Braves, but we certainly made sure that our tailgaters had full bellies to enjoy the game and its celebration of the 1998 Padres Team.

Events: Felicita Park, Tecolote Shores, and Santee Lakes

The weekend's picnics took us north to Felicita County Park in Escondido, east to Santee Lakes, and south to Tecolote Shores on Mission Bay. All picnics were well-attended and guests enjoyed themselves with lots of fun entertainment and activities and -- of course -- great food!
