Events: Milestones and More

Last week, we were chosen to cater private and business milestones from luxurious residences in Carmel Valley, Kensington, and North Poway to sprawling business parks in Golden Triangle, Kearny Mesa, and Chula Vista with a few company picnics at Mission Bay included. Here are some snapshots of the parties and some close-ups of the food, including our famous mango salsa featured on the Tropical Paradise menu:

Events: Picnic Season Has Arrived!

With seven company picnics last week, Bar None Barbecue officially kicked off the summer with corporate gatherings held at parks all over the county. Here are some photos of the festivities:

Everything went wonderfully. I have to give high praise to your staff, they are so helpful and accommodating. I really appreciated how they asked me where I preferred them to set up. The spread was beautiful, and of course, I again, looked the hero for hiring you. All the feed back I heard was positive and my manager gave me a BBQ sauce soaked thumbs up. There is no doubt that I will contact you for my next event.

Events: Lotsa Lunches

With the beautiful weather, corporate luncheons have become a great way to give co-workers the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and hang out with their colleagues over a delicious barbecue meal. These snapshots show some of our recent setups:

Events: School's Out for Summer

What a way to celebrate the arrival of summer ... five out of our ten events last week were associated with celebrations for local students marking the end of the school year. On Tuesday evening, we catered the La Costa Canyon High School Maverick Athletic Boosters Second Annual Athletic Awards Night which was a huge success.


On Thursday afternoon, we had the pleasure of serving the Montessori School of San Diego's students and parents at their annual picnic ... it marked our tenth year in a row catering this event.


On Friday morning, we served an excited group of fifth graders from Sundance Elementary at the Poway Pool.


To wrap up the week on Sunday evening, we catered the Serra High School Baseball Banquet at the Hall of Champions in Balboa Park, and we were back at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad to celebrate the end of the year with the members of their ASB.

Events: Grilling in the Pacific Ocean

On Friday, Bar None Barbecue had the amazing opportunity of being as close as possible to actually grilling in the Pacific Ocean itself toward the tip of Point Loma. Ryan and Sarah did a great job keeping the fire burning nice and hot, and making sure the buffet stayed replenished. We were surprised how calm the wind was and how mild the temperature was, but nothing was as surprising as feeling like you're at the edge of the world!
