Our wonderful clients have been taking time to write some glowing notes about Bar None's services after their events. Here are snippets from just a few of the more recent kind words we've received:
"I just wanted to write you a short note to tell you how much everyone enjoyed the BBQ today. The food was great and so many employees that I passed in the hallway afterwards commented on how great the food was. Your staff did a great job for us. They are definitely very customer-oriented and are a pleasure to work with and certainly know how to throw a good BBQ. Thank you for a great event and such good customer service!"
"Everyone had a great time and your team is fantastic! Krista and Jared were awesome! Thanks again for everything!"
"I want to thank you for everything…the food was outstanding and the staff, very professional. I do want to let you know…the game attendant did an outstanding job! He really motivated everyone to get involved! Thanks again!"
"Just wanted to follow-up to say thank you for all your hard work last Friday. I have received many compliments on the food and on the display set-up of the buffet and chuck wagon grill. Thanks again and we look forward to working with you all again in the future."
"Thanks for everything. Krista and the guys were great! The food and the presentation were outstanding. I only wish I could have been eating more instead of helping with our master of ceremonies. It was very nice meeting you as well."

Two Private Events, Two Gorgeous Locations
On Saturday, we catered milestone events at stunning locations ... the first was a surprise 60th birthday party at a home on Mount Helix, and the second was a wedding anniversary celebration at the Del Mar Train Station. At both events, Bar None BBQ was right near the water: one by a vanishing edge pool, and the other above the Pacific Ocean just east of Powerhouse Park. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

Sheriff Kolender's Retirement Party
Bar None Barbecue was thrilled to be chosen as the caterer for Sheriff Bill Kolender's retirement party on July 1st. There were hundreds of guests on hand to celebrate Mr. Kolender's service to San Diego County ... we couldn't have been more honored to be a part of saying farewell to such a wonderful man!

Good News, Bad News
We're happy to report that we have been extremely busy with all types of events over the last two weeks with lots of great clients and guests in both new and familiar locations, but we're disappointed that our blog has suffered from neglect! Here are snapshots from a few of the prior week's events, and we hope to have some of last week's event pix posted shortly. Thank you for your patience with us!

10th Anniversary and 60th Birthday
Last week, we were excited to discover that our most consistent client was celebrating 10 straight years with Bar None Barbecue as his caterer. Jim, the school's owner, has held the same year-end celebration for his students since June 2000, and we're proud to be a continuing part of this event ... thanks for your loyalty to us, Jim!
Over the weekend, a new client (referred by another excellent, existing client) celebrated his 60th birthday at the lovely Lake Poway. The honoree and his guests enjoyed a lighthearted picnic to acknowledge this important milestone.

SDPD Retirement and ASB Senior Parties
Bar None Barbecue was honored to be selected as the caterer for two milestone events last week. On Thursday, we catered an SDPD Captain's retirement luncheon with her friends and colleagues at the division. Although it was a bittersweet occasion, everyone had a chance to say goodbye and to wish her well on her new adventure. On Sunday, we catered an ASB Senior Party at a North County high school. Students and their parents had a chance to reminisce and to look forward, all while enjoying great food and excellent company!
